The Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Association (TMBA) held the Energy-Saving Label Award Ceremony on the 10th at The Lin Hotel in Taichung, recognizing the breakthroughs and contributions of the machine tool industry in energy efficiency and green smart technology. Taiwan TAKISAWA Technology received the highest honor, the "Golden Energy Saving Label Recognition", for its innovative green smart turn-mill machine, the EX-2000YS. The EX-2000YS turn-mill machine, certified under ISO 14955 for green smart machinery, is characterized by high precision and low energy consumption. It boasts numerous advanced features, such as an innovative variable-frequency hydraulic system that effectively adjusts the output of the hydraulic pump during standby, reducing lubrication oil usage through automatic grease lubrication design and precise monitoring systems. These advancements result in a 40-70% reduction in oil consumption while ensuring smooth machine operation. Additionally, the machine incorporates "programmable control" conveyors and mist collectors, enabling precise chip and exhaust management while reducing energy consumption by 15%. It is also equipped with a smart energy consumption monitoring system that provides real-time operational status updates to optimize energy utilization.

Further enhancing its eco-friendliness, the machine replaces oil coolers with low-energy air-cooling units for the spindle, cutting overall energy consumption by more than 42%. Its built-in spindle design increases axial movement speed by over 50%, reducing both operating costs and environmental impact.
